Mr. CHAN Tak Lam said today he felt very uncertain in the market. He thinks HK economy will go downtrend and in the name of keeping the HK financial system stable he wants to put more restrictions on banks mortgage lending in order to protect the banks. He said that's his job. How can the Head of the HKMA say things like that? Market is always volatile and no one can ever be 100% sure to predict the market. If he is so inconfident in his predictions and had publicly announced his inability to understand the market. Then he should resign now or be fired by the New Chief Executive of the HKSAR. Chan Tak Lam's attitude is that Banks are Honest & small hk citizens are Crocked cheaters. He also thinks that HKSAR govt and HKMA is responsible to protect FOREIGN INTERNATIONAL BANKS. Can HK afford? Is this the public interest of HK? Change |
