Deutsche Bank considers UK exit plan

The referendum is all about the ordinaryBritish people voting for what they see as best for themselves and theirfamilies. Not what is best for big business and in particular not what is bestfor bankers.REPLY

Not when the choice is democratic freedomor subjugation to a corrupt organization aspiring to become a superstate.

Apparently 9,000 ordinary workers do notmatter to Deutsche Bank who are more than willing to get rid of them for thesake of bigger profits.

Allegedly, a major Japanese Bank has statedit is keen to take Deutsche Bank's place (employing up to 15,000 personnel)should the German Bank decide to leave the UK, post the UK's exit from theEU.REPLY

Parts of Irradiated Japan will evacuate intime and the States are in turmoil, Europe seems to like Nazi Governments againand is just for fun going to start a new cold war or worse. Japanese people areso amazing and will be most welcome here once the German bankers have beencleared from our beaches!REPLY

Are you really such a half-wit to thinkit's all Germans working at Deutsche Bank? Do you think that every person Asdaemploys in the UK is american or everyone working in the toyota factory isJapanese?
I love the nazi thing though it reallymarks out thick people nicely. As a note I'm a Brit working in Germany, theydidn't vote for a government that's repealing the human rights act, crackingdown on dissent, starving its poor and increasing surveillance on its citizens.Nowadays we British are far closer to a Nazi sympathising society.

Why should Deutsche Bank worry?
Surely they know that Cameron has nointention of letting Britain escape the democratically corrupt EuropeanUnion...even if we vote "Out".
Sounds like Deutsche Bank might be engagedin the planned scaremongering propaganda we're going to see a lot of over thenext year or more.REPLY

"The exodus begins?"
Well, no. A medium-sized European bank hastold a few pen-pushers to prepare a scenario.
What has begun is frantic scaremongering bythose who relish the thought of the UK being a province of a totalitariansuperstate, with all aspects of life and behaviour dictated
by anunaccountable, corrupt and ever-expanding bureaucracy in Brussels.

The reason we hear so much about thenegative / defensive strategies businesses will prepare is because no seriouspolitician has developed a positive plan for what we should do to optimise theopportunities if the UK leaves the EU. Where are the blue-sky thinkersformulating these strategies?
So if the people they pretend to serve votein favour of an exit, will leading politicians just hide their heads in thesand and say 'serves you right' or will someone do their best, with imaginativeplans, to lead us to a better future?REPLY

It's obvious what will happen should itcome to a yes vote. The UK can in no way leave the EU without seriouslydamaging the economy. So the government will just declare the resultsnone-binding, possibly explaining that it's a referendum and not anelection.REPLY

The problem with the various negotiatingpositions is this:
1) Those advocating staying in the EU onthe premise it will be reformed, need to answer "what if it isn't reformedenough"? We can all abstractly agree that if an organisation is run as wethink it should be, that we would want to be a member.
2) Those advocating leaving the EU on thepremise that an orderly exit in which we keep all the good bits without any ofthe bad bit can be negotiated need to answer "what if it can't be andbusinesses face additional costs to access teh single market"?
Each side thinks there is some"Goldilocks" outcome that can be negotiated and if it is all will begood. At the point of a referendum we may know whether some of the reforms areacceptable to the EU, but we definitely won't know what sort of exit deal ispossible. REPLY
